Welcome to O'Learys, where we blend the vibrant spirit of a Bostonian neighborhood bar with a modern twist on entertainment and dining. Our restaurants are informal event hubs that offer a unique combination of sports, American cuisine, and a range of activities designed to entertain and delight everyone. Whether you’re a sports enthusiast, a foodie, or just looking for a fun time, O'Learys has something for everyone. 

Our Story 

The O'Learys journey began on a hot summer day on the island of Nantucket, where a young Jonas Reinholdsson met Anne O'Leary, a spirited Bostonian. Their shared passion for hospitality and sports led them to Sweden, where they opened the first O'Learys restaurant in Gothenburg on November 16, 1988. This was Sweden's first genuine American sports bar, and it quickly became a beloved local hotspot.  

A few years later, the first franchised O’Learys restaurant opened its doors in Luleå, Sweden. Since then, O’Leays has expanded globally, from Singapore in the south to Kirkenes, Norway in the north. Today we are located in over 100 locations in 10 different countries. The brand has evolved from being merely a sports bar to becoming the top destination for all sorts of eatertainment experiences. Moving forward, our vision is to become the wolds number one eatertainment company.
